Rescue and Wilderness First Aid

"The best laid plans of mice and men..."

As we all know things can and do go wrong and relying on crossed fingers is not an appropriate risk management strategy!

As whitewater paddlers we have both an individual and collective responsibility to keep ourselves and each other safe. Safely enjoying the outdoors is about good decisions, sound judgment and solid skills. Understanding limitations and knowing what to do when an accident occurs defines a good paddler. Being competent and responsible in the outdoors and on the water includes awareness and professional training in risk management, river rescue and wilderness first aid. We offer a variety of programs that fulfill these needs.
